I want to run gfo and carbon on my tank. Could this canister filter which has 3 trays be used for the gfo and carbon. Also do you recommend taking out the sponge filters? Do the jbj canister filters have upflow or downflow? It has a 5 wat uv light that is a plus. jimsreef
