think I got it fixed,

The cord has some electrical components that change the signal to one usable by reef angel, arduino, and apex controllers. If using Apex, you'd use the signal from your VDM variable speed ports. This allows you to not cut your cords up, so you can switch back to your jebao controller.

Hey guys, I can make some up, 40$ for a cable that controls 2 pumps from a single Apex Variable Speed Port. ( wp40's or 2 wp25's) $25 for a cable that just controls 1 pump. (thats shipped)
Are you u using apex's ? I don't know if these will work on ReefKeepers...

Full Apex system here, I want to have the pumps on opposite corners of a 4x2' frag tank so I'm not sure the "double cable" will work for cable routing purposes? Instead put me down for 2 of the single controllers I guess

Whoa, I guess there's some need for these things out there! Ok, just to make sure you guys know what you need/would get. This cable takes a 1-10v analog signal (which is what the Apex Variable Speed Ports put out) and cuts it in half to make a 1-5volt signal (which is what the wp40 and wp25 pumps want). It is plug and play so that you can remove the wp controller but you will still use the power supply/adapter that came with your wp pump. Then the Apex end of the wire has an ethernet connection that plugs into a variable speed port of the Apex or a port a a VDM module.

Basically, for you guys looking to control pumps other than Jebao WP pumps, make sure that the DC pump your controlling wants to see a 1-5 volt analog signal. Also, this cable uses the 3 prong water proof LED connector that the Jeabo's use. Lets do this, if you're not using this for a Jeabo WP pump, please tell me what kind of pump it is so I can make sure this cable will work for you.

Lastly, I'm open to trading for frags too. I've got a new tank that needs frags and I can't get to FRAG meetings much.. Look forward to helping you guys get your DC pumps under Apex control. Woodwrangler (in Chandler I think) bought a cord from me, so please write him to get more of an idea of what the cord is. I hope to come to a FRAG meeting in Phx sometime too, so I could bring them then.

I'll be.. It it looks like their using the exact same connector as the Jeabo's, can you confirm this (there's several 3 prong LED connectors that look very similar). Also, can anyone confirm that these diablo DC pumps use 1-5 volts analog to control speeds?

Don't need pictures.. just see if you can plug a Diablo pump into the Jeabo's controller or vice versa.. We're just trying to make sure its the exact same waterproof connector.

It should! It's the same as the Jebao. Here they are side by side:

cool, we're set on the connectors then. All we need is to know what the voltage is for the contorlling wire to the Diablo DC pump. We know Jeabo's run 1-5 volts analog. Your apex puts out 1-10 volts analog. Hopefully someone has figured it out already and its online somewhere. The other options is someone with a multi meter could figure out the voltages present by plugging the Diablo's controller in and seeing how many volts are coming out at different speed settings.
