as above, im ordering mine soon! replacing marine magic. i could use the extra 1 doser, and apparently it will continue dosing afterwards if there is a power cut off. for marine magic, you will have to see time on the pump before selecting timer mode.

Anyone received their please do a review here!

jebao doser review :

So i received my jebao auto dosing pump and i got it hooked today. replacing my old Marine Magic dosing pump. The reason why i chose to replace was mainly because of MM's inability to restart working after power off/on and thinking the jebao will be easier to set.

Turns out the jebao wasn't as good as i expected. when i read that it can dose in ML and X times per day, i was thinking it will able to auto calculate the amount of ML to dose after you input total ML dose and number of times per day but no!

This system wants you to set number of times a day (e.g. 10) then set ML PER time (e.g. 10ml) and then set time that you want to dose (e.g. 12pm) and set it for 10 times (since you want it to dose 10 times a day) which makes it just as almost similar to MM. this part was a bit disappointing.

The good part of the jebao doser was it's accuracy. during calibration it was able to calibrate 100ml with almost 100% accuracy!

overall was still impressed with this 4-doser pump and the price was a no brainer, now it just comes down to reliability. But i believe like it's wavemaker pumps they will probably be able to work quite long.

thanks for the review. did you buy it from fish-street? was it shipped from hong kong? looks like it arrived pretty fast. how much was the price if you don't mind me asking?

just to check

When setting up after selecting the pump they ask how many times per day. then after that they ask for interval. (0-30) any one can advice please ?

i got it from a local store in my country. fish street do ship them too.

Don't try this. If I want to set to dose 384ml of kh in 24time each day(16ml each hour). I need to press the button several hundred times to get only one channel done. It is crazy, I need to press the button hardly then other pump due to the quality of its button is bad. The display don't dim out, I expect it will fail in a year by running the display 7X24.

I got one of these about 2 weeks ago.

Its essentially a profilux ghl doser. The pump heads are quite robust and the motors seem to be decent quality. The body has a cheap plastic/hollow feel to it. The buttons are not that precise.

The calibration is fairly precise - didn't really have to tinker with it that much.

The bracket set it comes with was fairly useless for me - I ended up making my own bracket.

You basically set number of times a day, interval (i.e every x days for non-daily use) - 0 for daily, mL and times.

As for power-outage - when I got it I played with some of the settings - unplugged it and came back in an hours and it still had the settings. I think it will lose the setting eventually if the power is out long enough (probably a capacitor to hold power for the setting).

Couldn't be happier - beats the heck out of my Marine Magic and I just don't seem myself spending $500 for a doser.

Very informative. Thank you

Just got one of these pumps in today. Looks great. Like it a lot better than the marine color I had before.

I am still confused on the interval setting. If I want to dose as many times in one day as possible lets say a total of 100ml. Would I set the number of does to 24 and interval to 0 and set each dose amount, or would I set the dose to 1 and set the interval to 30 meaning 30 of the same doses throughout the day?

I believe you set the interval to 0 to dose every day and then 24 as the number of dosing times. You can then set the dosing volume to 4ml so that it doses 24 x 4ml every day ie. 94ml per day
