Jebao sow8 question- blades never stop

I have 2 jebao sow8 wave makers I just purchased

In modes W1. W2 the blades never actually stop
Is this correct? I saw an older video 8 years old where the blades do stop in those modes to produce waves

Anyone familiar with?

I have different jebaos but they all have those modes. Pulse yes, stop no, as far as I've witnessed.

Mine slow but don’t stop. Never really thought about it to be honest.

Depending on what mode they are in, all the models I have or have had did stop. I normally use 2 synced together alternating.

Currently I run the M0W versions and hate them. I still have a pair of S0W running on my smaller tank and they are the same. They do stop in certain modes.

Most Jebao’s have (or least mine do)
Ramp up to full setting, then ramp down to low setting, repeat.
Ramp up to full setting, then off, then back to full setting (which is your “stop”)
Random.
Constant.

The length of the “wave” is the knob, except constant.
