Jebao vs Simplicity DC Return Pump Comparison

Ive been looking into a cheap return pump for a new setup. Initially I was going to use one of the newer versions of the Jebao (DCT series). It looks like the newest series only goes up to the DCT-15000 as previous pumps went up to 18000 and 20000. The Jebao claims 3962 gph and 16.4 foot max head pressure.
The next model down in the DCT 12000 around 3100 gph. The 15,000 is $137 on amazon.

Anothet affordable company is simplicity. The largest pump they offer is the 3200 model. This pump claims 3200 gph with a max head of 16 ft. This pump runs about $169 on amazon about $30 more than the jebaor 12000.

Ive found that the simplicity pump and the jebao pump look very similar as if they are essentially the same pump rebranded? What I noticed is the simplicity pump brags on their 2 year warranty and it seems if your jebao pump breaks your out of luck. Simplicity has a website with a phone number you can call for help (I did and it was quick and easy).

Are these basically the same pump? Are you paying the extra money for warranty and convenience?

Id love to hear feedback from someone who knows.

simplicity pump

Same pump

Stick with the Jeboa DCP series, these cheaper pumps are always a gamble and I have no feedback from them at all. At least with the DCP we have some feedback.
