I am programming a controller that will control the whole setup. I would honestly like to control everything with it to avoid more modules and that. Hence not talking about the Jebao controller. I can program speed control into my controller I just haven't yet. It's simple pulse width modulation. Did some research last night. Its not to hard and in the end is simpler to me.
 
I am using a Netduino + 2. I found a few really good builds I am stealing from. Some of the coding I have written myself but like you I just need the time!

The controler will control an ato, my lights via a 12v relay and dj power strip, pumps, temp, and ph. It will have a LCD screen for display. I'll eventually add more I am sure but have not gotten there yet.

So on this note...I was going to order a dual set of WP-25's and a dual wavemaker for them.

I have been watching videos of them on tanks much larger than mine running ONE WP-25 and it made some BIG waves. Are two WP-25's overkill on a 40B?

I had a 10 that I played with and I would say 2 10s wouldn't be near enough for a 40b. I would go 2 25s at least but I like flow

I have two wp25 I can sell you. I bought them for my 200 and they are two small. I had a Tunze 6105 already so I just got a wp40, Now I lots of flow. I'd like to sell the Tunze and get another wp40 with a duel controller.
 
I have to ask again. I was watching a guy with one WP-25 dialed down on his 40B. He was comparing it to an MP-10. Each one alone made a lot of wave motion in the tank. That leads me to ask again why two WP-25s would be beneficial? Does it just have to do with dead zones or what? It seems one would make plenty of flow and movement. Just making sure I do no go overboard. If I get two I will be getting a dual controller which is why if I find I only need one I don't want a dual controller...

Imo yes. In my 125 I have two wp40s and one rw15 . Two on one side and one on the other side of tank. All mid height and facing each other(meeting point of flow in centre of tank above live rock. It creates flow that breaks down on live rock and then reaches into all areas of tank
 
Rather than having both units plugged into 1 master, you link them. You can also control the flow rate of each pump individually that way. They will alternate every n seconds as you specify still, but you can control the flow of each pump as well. You can wirelessly sync up to 4 I think. As far as I know, the RW series pushes more flow than the WP series, but its hard finding charts. Of course, I havent looked super hard either.

Question i do have. Say you have 2 tanks in proximity to each other. Can you have 2 distinct Jebao RW series systems independent from each other?

I found the manuals. It is 8 units linked. And yes you can have two seperate yet close by. You have to select slave and master via a push button. I think where you might come up short is trying to have two slaves and two masters in close proximity.
