Jebao WP-10?

Apparently Jebao has launched a WP-10! Fishstreet.com announced over the winter break that the smaller pump still packs a punch like it's predecessor. The wattage varies from 6w to 15w depending on which mode is selected. As far as output the new WP-10 can pump out an estimated 1050 GPH. I've never owned one, but I opted in to order it! I will update on RC when the pump arrives!

Let me know it turns out for you. I purchased a JBJ 30 gallon over the holidays and we are in the process of cycling it out before adding livestock. I will have a build thread up as soon as we take a few more pictures of the tank.

I had to run the wp25 with a dimmer on the tank because even at the lowest setting it was sending water over the edge of the glass. It runs fine now, but I'm still leery of someone bumping it or little hands making their way in the stand and changing the settings.

Yeah I was reading that a lot of people were purchasing dimmers through their local hardware store or on ebay. Hopefully these pumps are as small as they were pictured on Fishstreet.com.

I put it in the tank yesterday. It is about half the size of the WP 25. I have both

How would you say the flow is between the two? I am debating two wp10's or two wp25's (dialed back of course) for my 60 cube. I like the small size of the 10 but I am just worried it's not going to be enough flow when I want to create a storm. I run a solid travertine bottom.

I put one of these in my Biocube 29 the other day and it really doesnt seem to push a whole lot of water? It definitely doesn't "feel" like 4000 lph compared to my mj1200 which blows harder with 1100 lph. The wave it made on my biocube was a little more than 1/4 of an inch (but it could have been the positioning of it and the rolled corners of the cube (i have it shooting back to front). When I put my rotating water deflector on my return pump, I can barely tell there is a wave in the tank. I'm currently debating if the biocube needs 2, I somehow have it set up wrong but instructions online are self explanatory, or if I got a faulty unit. Anyone else have any insight with theirs? Google search isn't turning up a lot of reviews, just group buys

It's there in black and white, what can't you understand? :D

This is great info for me. I use a MJ1200 stream pump in my 18" cube (yes I like lots of flow) I am going to be building up a 60 cube and was trying to decide on a pair of 10's or 25's. I think you made up my mind.

I just received my low profile Jebao WP-10 and installed it. I have to say that I am quite please on how it turned out; not too strong nor weak. I have been playing around with the controller and for Arkansaw, have you tried turning the knob clockwise? That would increase the wave length and if you switch it to either "S1" or "W1" you can really see the waves move across the tank. I will try to upload a pic of the WP-10 to show how small it is in comparison to a light bulb.
