Was strolling around in aquarium village today and noticed they had a nice supply of Jebao wp10 wp25 and wp40 on hand has anyone had a try with this pump? What are your thoughts and opinions on them and the fact that they are almost 1/4 the price of any mp type pump? I know there is a thread on this topic in the forum i am subscribed to it but I haven't seen anyone in this reef club speak on them and being that i can pretty much see personally from any member how they work in person i would like to hear from you guys and gals, thanks.

I had a wp25. Owned it for like 1 minute. I put it in my 28 gal cube and it made a tsunami in my tank. On the lowest setting! lol I noticed that they came out with a wp10 now so it might be better for nanos
They look and feel good. Would definitely get another when I upgrade.

Sweet I think I'll give it a shot with the wp10 I will post updates I guess they are pretty cheap so it won't break the bank

Yep that's exactly how I got it but I was hesitant on it so u pulled the trigger and they shipped it to me ridiculously fast and it arrived today so I'm happy so far but my clown fish is bugging out he keeps attacking it I guess he's not used to that type of movement

I'm not sure what size tank you are running but I have a 25 in my 50G and it's A LOT of power. I was stunned.

I love it i have it in a 20L and the wp10 kicks *** i wish i knew how to upload vids through tapatalk but its worth it

I have a wp25 in 2'x 1.5'x1.5' tank. It is too strong even with lowest setting which is W1 S3. I have to change the power supply from 24V 1amp to 12V 5amp. Also the light sensor is not very good. But the pump is very silent and good. Running in my tank for over a month with no problem. You won't regret for sure.

Yeah its Definitely strong as hell my clowns don't know what to do with the movement I might put it in my 29 biocube just for now and see how that turns out

I have the WP40s.
I run only 1 right now. It's been running for about 5mos.

The other wp40 I have had been running for about 8 mos. It stopped working last month.
I emailed fishstreet, the company in China I bought it from. Before hte day was over the responded. All I have to do is pay $23 for the shipping and they will send me a new motor.

I don't know if this was a fluke or not...but these things do often happen. I can't remember the last time I bought a MJ that actually worked properly.

All in all, I am still happy with my purchase.

For the money, I still feel it is worth it. I bought mine through a GB. So, the price of the wp40 was very favorable.

Since I know the cost of it from china, incl. shipping, I'm not likely to buy it from a local source.

Nice I paid about 55$ for a wp10 and got free 2 day shipping through amazon prime I think I got a pretty good deal

So I hooked up the WP-25 on my 75 gallon today, and it moves a ton of water. one wp-25 and the return creates a ton of flow throughout the tank. Especially since it was $69 on amazon with prime!

Have one on my 29 biocube and it's perfect IMO.

As for the WP40's our club members are starting to see some failures from a GB about 6-8 months ago. I'll get 2 WP25's for my 60 cube so at least I have one running if it fails. If they don't end up lasting much more than a year I'll likely go back to vortechs. At the price they're worth the risk though.
