Jebao WP25 Information

Seems like they are take care of customer good as well even tho its a cheaper pump.

People where saying that there would not be any customer service....

Yeah the experience I had has shown not just acceptable customer service, but exceptional and above the norm, which is really really nice especially since I was expecting dismal support

Any tips on how to make the darn sensor work at night? I have tried putting it by my power supply switch which lights up red... still nothing... pump keeps running the same way all day/night long. Any help, advice and tips are appreciated!!

The light from the power supply isn't bright enough. Try adding leads to the sensor and extend it to a point that will be near some moonlights.

Well..... I'll b darned.... I just now inverted the ding dong prongs of the mother fragging sensor and like magic the silly thing started working properly.... :D

Jeabo WP-25 Review

This review is for a Jeabo WP-25 with new speed controller. I bought 2 of These Pumps to run in a 75 Gallon mixed Reef Tank.

Shipping:
The Packing is not the the best but everything was intact. When they ship the pump the magnets are together. It would be nice if they placed cardboard between them.
Caution when putting in tank be careful magnets a very strong.
Content:
1 Pump
1 controller
1 Light sensor (The sensor is very cheap but it works for now)
1 Plug- The cord is plenty total over 10 feet.

Features
•Easy installation and maintenance.
•360 degree rotation on a magnetic bracket
•6 different operating modes, including variable pulse modes for wave generation and a Reef Stream mode that generates a random flow pattern similar to that found on a natural reef
•Night sensor - automatically detects when tank lights go out and slows the pump.
•One-touch feed mode - slows pump for a period of 10 minutes.
•High performance, powerful, water flow combined with low energy consumption.
•Ceramic shaft for long life and durability
•Intelligent control system to generate various wave patterns to suit your tank.
•Extra-long cable for ease and comfort of placement, even on larger tanks.
•Low voltage, safe, reliable power supply. • Suitable for freshwater and saltwater.

Jebo Modes

Press the 'MODE' button to cycle through the selection of functions.
S1-100% S2-75% S3-50%

H1 H2 H3: High, constant, non-variable flow (8000L)

L: Low, constant, non-variable flow at a third of the speed (2600L)

W1: Short pulses which, when timed correctly will create a back and forth motion and form a gentle standing wave in your tank. Adjust the controller to change the speed of the pulses and vary the size of the wave according to your tank.

W2 & W3: Pump gradually speeds up and slows down incrementally to create a varied flow pattern. Adjustable to form the wave best suited to your tank.

Else: Reef Stream Mode, a mixed, changing pattern that creates a random flow cycle similar to what you would find in a natural reef.

Feed: Press the 'FEED' button once, the blue '10min' light will illuminate indicating that the pump has been stopped for 10 minutes. When the time has elapsed, the light will go off and the pump will be turned back on. Alternatively, press the 'FEED' button again to start the pump.

Lock: To prevent changes from inadvertently occurring by accidentally knocking the adjustable control knob, press and hold the 'FEED' button for 5 seconds. The red 'LOCK' light will illuminate and the control knob will no longer function. Press and hold the 'LOCK' light for a further 5 seconds to disable this feature.

*Night: When the two-pinned sensor is inserted into the two small plugs on the left-hand side of the control box, Night mode will function automatically. The sensor detects when the tank lights go out and slows the pump to half speed. The 'Sensor' light will illuminate when Night mode is in operation. To disable the Night mode function, remove the sensor from the control box.

At first look the pump itself look well made. The controller feels light and cheap but its only a little circuit inside.
The pump itself does rotate 360 Degrees however the mount feels really cheap once you get it in place don't move around to much.

Like I side I bought 2 for a 75 gallon mixed reef. The pump is very strong and creates great current.
If you have a sand bottom be careful the default setting when you plug it in is High 1 ( point pump up).
If you have 75 gallon or smaller tank with sand bottom and want to run 2 pump you will want to use some type of controller or LED dimmer.
Since I have crushed corral 2 pumps on high work perfect.

I have tried several different Combo setting I personally like both set on else. The random flow it makes is great.
From what I can tell S1 S2 and S3 is only used with W1 setting even though is says it on all modes.
Overall I am very happy I made the purchase only time will tell as to how long they will last.Things I would change Better light sensor, Better pump mount. S1 S2 S3 work in all modes.

Pros:
Price point
Strong flow
Magnets are strong
Lots of modes to choice from.
Small foot print
Long cords

Cons:
Packing
Factory Light senor
Pump mount feels Cheap
S1 S2 S3 only work with W1

So it sounds like you can't throttle the max speed down in else mode. Is that correct? I was hoping to use one of these in a 60g cube, but if else can potentially churn the water on high speed, might have to rethink.

In else mode it only hits full power for 3-5 seconds every 10 minutes or so otherwise it randomly changes flow . From what I can tell I could be wrong But S1 s2 and S3 only work in w1. Its really har to tell I am uploading a few videos now I will post once they are done.

Mine was noisy and eric sent me replacement pump. The noisy pump still works atm, but I need a controller, does anyone have a controller old/new they want to get rid of? PM me.

I see. I have two coming and wonder what will happen if I run them in else mode and eventually they sync up on high power. I have my water line about an inch and a half below the rim of my tank. Lol.

I think 1 in a 60 gallon will be fine

I just put a mp25 on my 54g corner and LOVE it. You should be happy with it on your 60.
