Jebao WP60

They can be synced up using a 3rd party controller like and Apex or Reef Angel.
I think I remember reading that if you start them at the same time and have the same settings that they stay pretty much in sync.

I think it would be unless you put a dimmer on it or control it with a 3rd party controller to slow it down.

I have two WP40'S on my reef angel and it allows for them to run in sync or anti sync modes. I run mine in anti sync since each pump is on the opposite end of one of another; adds very nice chaotic flow ;-)

I'm running mine Anti-sync on a Reef Angel for the same reason, they are on different ends of the tank.

They run on 24vdc, and even if they had a voltage leak it would not hurt you, the fish or the corals. I've proven on the WP-40 forum that you can take a 24vdc transformer and stick the plug directly into saltwater and not even get a reading to ground. I stuck my hand in the water and grounded myself and still nothing. I then left the plug submerged in the water and it took approximately 12 minutes for it to take out the 2 amp fuse. I used a 24vdc 75va transformer for the test. I've heard a lot of grief from the MP fanboys about how these cheap pumps are going to electrocute somebody or burn down the house. I have 3 WP-40's and 3 WP-25's running in my tanks, since the day they were introduced and have yet to have any problems. I am just getting ready to purchase a couple of WP-60's. For the money, these pumps can't be beat!

You are brave man, I wouldn't do this willingly but it has happened :eek1:

Thank you for your comments and I'm not trying to rain on this parade at all, it was just a thought based on previous experienced on the Rio pump.

I receive my WP60 on friday put it in the tank on sunday next to my tunze 6300 ,It's move some serious waters compare to Tunze But it making a little tiny Buzzing sound when it Ram up.The cord for WP60 kinda short compare ,i have to mount my controller on the side of the tank instead of the front and then again my tank is 36 inches wide.Let see how it does in the long term.My Tunze is 6 year old and still running strong.

I've got a 215 mixed reef tank currently running 3 Koralia 1400s and a Tunze wavebox. I'd like to replace the Koralias, but I'm debating between one WP60 and Two WP40s. Any advice would be much appreciated!

I have a 210 gal and have had two WP40'S running for about 6 months now. If the WP60s were available then I would have bought two of those (they're about the same price so why buy the 40's). I am thinking now of adding a third jebao a wp60.

If I were you I would buy two 60's.

I haven't seen the 60's and there output and I'm not real familar with a 210 gallon tank, but I would say at least 2 WP-60's.

I bought 2 so Far i only install 1 for my 300.I'm telling you WP60 move alot of water in a good way.I think one Wp60 is plenty for 210g mix reef.

1 may be enough, but I like the ability to move them around and even have two pumps on opposite ends of the tank to get cross current.

I ordered 2 WP60s from FishStreet. In the worst case scenario, I will have a second pump to sub in for easy maintenance and cleaning. Thanks again for the advice!
