Jebao WP60

Wow, that is really loud. I don't run mine on full blast but that seems extreme. Sounds like the pump noise is being amplified.

Think because the tank isn't full?

Also, maybe since they're way down in the tank since I'm still filling it up?

I can't seen in your video: Is any part of the pump, except the base, touching glass? I agree, the band playing in your room is not acceptable!

Hey guys filled the tank up a bit more and moved the WP60s more into the center of the side panels. They are not a lot more quiet.

I had my wife help me move the first one... she knew the magnets were strong, but I didn't stress it.

When I moved the WP60, she lifted the magnet about 1" off the tank and it shot down 10 inches onto the stand. Made a crazy noise... needless to say that was all the help I got last night.

Those magnets are no joke! Took a ton of force to get the magnet off of the stand...

i have 90g dominate SPS and bare bottom. right now i have 2 MP40 and i want to get two wp60. What you guy think is it to much flow or i should go with two wp40. thank you

Wouldn't be the first time a night of nookie was lost to an aquarium. Really makes one question priorities in life:lolspin:

I am wondering the same. I will have a 210 gal so a lot more water to push. While the WP60 may be way too strong for a 55 gal, I wonder if the WP40s may be too week for a bigger tank. Your experience and thoughts are appreciated

Guys I just got 2 WP60s for my 400g display 72x36x36 tank, I got a 3" sugar size sand bed, would the pumps be too strong to move a lot of sand debris around?

I was originally gonna get the wp40s but after I saw them side by side I got the wp60s :lmao:

I think the mp60 will move your sand. I have this same issue.

So long as you place them in a good spot you should be okay. It will take a few attempts most likely to find the sweet spot. I have a friend with a WP60 in a 150 and it does the entire tank on its own. He is running a BB tank though. It is always better to go bigger if you can, you can always dial down, but you can not get a 40 and dial over 100% if it is not strong enough.

Can you please give me your tank specs please. I will keep the pumps in the original box until I decide to use them or not, Im just too afraid of sand storms"¦

Thanks for the feedback. This is going to be a see through tank so I cant put anything on the back glass. I may do a CL though, undecided.

On a tank that's 130 (l) x 25 (w) x 22 (h) how many wp 60's would you recommend?

130" long? Almost a 13 foot tank? I want to follow that build.

Do a 60 at either end will probably be okay depending on what you will stock, closed loop would be a nice touch.

130" almost 11 feet not 13 but yes a long tank. The tanks only 24 inches high I wanted something rather shallow but long. My only concern with the wp60's is I have over 60 chalice that I've been growing out for 10-15 years. They don't like a ton of flow.

And of coarse it is. I should drink more coffee before commenting and math lol.

2 60's should be good. My buddy has a 5' 150 gallon and 1 60 almost blows off all his lps and softies.

I just got the wp40 from fishstreet. Main concern is the rubber cover of the mounting clamp that holds the magnet. The cover comes off easily and worried about water getting inside where the magnet is.

I've got 4x wp 60's in a 96x36x30 and can't seem to gt the flow right, any tips? 2x at each end, tried all different modes. Challenge is no real flow in the center of the tank, open rock work.
