JEBO powerheads

Are these any good? I am looking for something fairly reliable. I am looking into options of making the Maxi-Jet mod, only using (possibly) this pump:

JEBO 1700 Aquarium powerhead - 200 GPH

You can buy a case of 24 on eBay for only $5 per pump! :eek2: I'm sure you could easily split that order up with a few people, and have plenty of 'utility' pumps leftover for stuff like mixing saltwater, etc.

Just don't want to buy a total piece of junk. Are there any known issues with these pumps (ie - won't restart, heat buildup, etc.)

They are junk. $5 a powerhead is a rip off for the quality.

Hmmm, just read a thread over on a FW forum where someone had a similar PH (same brand) that was leaking current into the tank. . .

Guess it'll be a Maxi-Jet then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
