1. I need a powerhead decent flow for fairly cheap
2. Need a refractomer(sp)
3. Need a calcium test kit and an alkalinity kit
4. Couple pounds of live rock rubble for coral fragging




I have a 46 gall tank and I the best for the value(also known as I am cheap)

I'll take a crack at it for you.

1. Powerhead--Maxi Jet if you're OK with directed flow. Rio Seio if you want a wide gentle flow.

2. The Asisco is cheap. The premium blue is much better quality in my opinion for a few dollars more. Both used the same way. Probably equally accurate.

3. Don't skimp on these. Salifert is your best bet. SeaChem is a good 2nd choice. Don't fall for the red sea alkalinity kit, which doesn't give you a number reading.

4. Rubble is easy enough. Search for code l-rockrubble. $1.99 a pound I think.
