I am not aware of any other names. I do know it it a cold water anemone.

They are also called Corallimorphs. Very cool looking mushroom anemone. I had the strawberry anemone (Corynactis Californica) version.

Looks cold water and only opens in when lights are turned off or in dark areas. They reproduce fairly quickly if they are fed.

I have some sort of Corynactis that came in as a hitchhiker. Warm water version, I guess, and they are doing fine. Neat animals, but they only come out at night.
