Won a JF my miami and over the past 2 weeks it has lost the green growth ring. It does not appear to be receding..

lighting = AI sol blue par measurement was 92µmol at light cycle peak, right next to the frag.

Water parameters
sg=1.025
temp 76

all tests salifer except for phosporus

Alk 11.1 (currently high letting it drop back to 8.5/9 range)
Ca 390
Mg 1350
Nitrate 0
Phosphate 0.009 hanna ULR

Did have an issue w/kalk 8 days ago w/Ph going to 9.1 for about an hour. Brought it down with some vinegar. All other corals and SPS seem to be doing fine although my euphyllia not expanding quite as much as normal.. all sps have PE and other LPS appear fine.

Any thoughts on what might be causing the loss of the green growth ring?

Sometimes it does that when transferring tanks, as it adjusts to the new system. It'll come back when it starts growing again.

I hope so...

Just for completeness I am putting 2 drops of Pohl's Coral Vitalizer in the tank daily, and using fauna marin color elements 2x weekly.

Tank volume is 20g.

Equipment - hob filter providing mechanical and chemical filtration (holds gac and gfo), eshopps psk-75h skimmer, mp10, 2xAI sol blue, 50w heater, tunze ato with ro/di only. Changing 5g water weekly.

I have purchased some fauna marin LPS pellets + fresh shrimp and am planning to start feeding most of the LPS.

I have read great things about Vitamin C dosing (check out PufferPunks thread)

Isn't Vitamin C somewhat controversial as a form of carbon dosing I think?... I guess I should add I am dosing 10mL of vinegar each morning as a carbon source...

per request here is a crappy photo....
