Get it and then worry about it later...At that price, I'm sure you can find a buyer if it doesn't work out.
Don't have 110 bucks to buy something that might work, and pray it sells.
Just realized i might have a problem with purchase of these pumps.
I have searched and search with no information on the strength of the magnets.
My tank is 1 inch thick acrylic.
Frank, could you email them and ask them the ability of the magnets.
I will be sending my payment over tomorrow. Also in a earlier post someone mentioned the controlling portion might be from fish street only. Is there any indication these won't come with?
Take a look at the number or vortech and tunze pumps for sale on the used equip forum... It has begun.. Kinda reminds me of people trying to sell houses in 07, couldn't drop the price fast enough to get it sold and rode the market all the way down! (on that note, anyone need hydor magnum 7's like new with 4 months use? $70ea)
Macboat, can you ask the factory if they're shipping the pumps with these axle caps fish-street is using? http://www.fish-street.com/jebao_rubber_impeller_replacement_kits
Could the price increase affect us on our group buy?
I had a feeling they were going to try to up the price..
The variable voltage adapter is an ad on fish-street started doing since many people were buying them anyway. It allows you to dial back the max speed of the pump (more important for 150 gal or smaller tanks. There is some talk on the main thread about whether this is ok for the pump to be dialed back, but no one has had a problem yet.
