Well said, Nick. I knew the answer and I am not worry about it. However, since this group buy has gathered so many orders and we sent in a big amount of money, I feel that I need to have a firm answer for everybody.

First, I talked to a good friend that works as paralegal in a patent law firm. Here is the take away: Only if there is a law suit and Tunze wins it that custom will stop the goods.

I also contacted the shipping company that will be our carrier, they told me the same thing. This shipment will be safe!

Last I called Jebao. They are aware of the letter sent to vendor but they never get letters from Tunze directly. No law suit was brought up against them either.

Lets be conservative and see worst case scenario, Tunze sued Jebao and wins, it will be years after this group buy is done. We are not distributor and we don't have to worry about it.:dance:

I work for a large international law firm. To confirm what Macboat said the lawsuit has to go to court and tunze or whoever would have to win. A cease and disit is a scare tactic used. This happens everyday in the USA with big US corps and other country that make equal products for cheap. Assuming the order ship in 2 weeks or so they won't even be in court. I will check to see if there is even a lawsuit in place when I get to work tomorrow.

After doing my research there is no lawsuit. So there is nothing to worry about. Even if one got filed today. It would take at minimum 2-3 months before jebao would even get the summons. 90% of the time in cases like this there is no suit and it goes to arbitaration which can take significantly longer.

All of the pumps (WP25 & WP40) will come with the new controller design (speed variable.) Jebao is also sending us replacement controllers for the members who received WP25s from the early shipment.

Thanks for your patience and all the kind words. Our order is on its way! They will arrive in the valley on Wednesday! (Yes, 19th of June!). And we all get new controllers that can adjust the speed!

They are shipped by air not by boat. The pumps and controllers were only ready on 15th and it will be too long to get here by boat. After some hardcore negotiations including mild name calling and gentle cursing, they agreed to ship them by air for some extra cost that I paid out of my pocket. There will be no additional cost to original buyers and please do not send me pity money too. There will be about 10 extra WP40s and WP25s each that if anybody wants them will cost $75 each. If they sell, it will compensate the extra shipping.

For out of state buyers, I have already recruited some helpers in your region and the pumps will be shipped directly from them. It will be faster than shipped by me. They are all within 1-2 days shipping ranges from you.

For locals, I am trying to talk to Carols see if he let us pick up from his store. If not, then pick up from my work or home on Friday and Saturday. stay tuned. (Thursday is my :xlbirthday: I will take a day off and no pick ups).
