hi all,
i used it for the first time and wording how does it work?
but i got bad aim, and some of it landed on my zoo but i quicky brush it off and the atp. anemone suck it up and die(i guess) but there was a lil bit of it flowing around the tank. my ? is, if it land on other corals like zoo,frown,spawn.....etc what would happen, depend on amouth that landed?

I have had some experience with Joe's Juice. It works well. I have had it accidentally get on shrooms and some lps, it will irretate corals but will not do irrepairable damage based on what I have observed. It is probably a good idea to squirt it off of a coral w/ a turkey baster rather than let it sit on a coral and irretate it.

Turn off all pumps/powerheads before using kalk paste or JJ.
(I think kalk past is better because you can make it really thick.)
Either mixture will pretty much kill anything you drop it onto.

I have used this product also and had very good luck with it. IF you didn't make sure that you turn off power heads and anything that may cause flow in the tank. this helped me with keeping it off the coral but no real damage occured

Marine Depot and probably other supply houses sell angled applicator tips for the syringe applicator that comes in the JJ package. These angled tips are extremely useful to help direct the flow of JJ into crevices and other hard to reach locations. It also helps to direct the flow in a more focused and controlled manner so that there is almost no danger of hitting unintended targets. I don't even have to kill the powerheads when using the applicators. I'm almost eager for the next aptasia to show its head so I can zap it. I know, I need a life:)

everything is find but the aptasia, they all die, i found more. i'm due for a water change, you think i should dose more and wait to do a water change? or w/c then dose...humm...? any ideeas?

I dose all taht I can find then do a water change not to have that stuff float around in the tank.

Yes turn off your powerheads and let it sit on what ever it is your trying to get rid of . I make my own from kalk . I use it to get rid of xenia that has gotten out of control .Works great if you leave it on the xenia overnight with the powerheads off by morning the xenia is completely done .

glad you're enjoying the JJ. That stuff is awesome. Let me know if you'll want any of my rock later in the summer. How's my Yellow Tang doing?

JJ works great but i think i like garys idea on the kalk paste....the thickness will deff help control where it lands....
