I'm looking at the above as a way to go from 1/2" ID clear tubing to poly tubing using a hose barb that screws into the fitting linked above. Basically I'm trying to go from a small mj pump to poly tubing for an ato system.
The pictures appear to have a gold ring of some sort as part of the fitting. Has anyone used theses? Think they are safe for a reef tank (copper?)
Totally open to other options to go from 1/2" id tubing to 1/4" poly if anyone has any.
