Well as most of you know I have been changing tanks over the last year. I had a established 180 that I ended up selling due to selling my home.
I started a 75 gallon reef to keep myself in the hobby as I had my house for sale and a 75 would be easy to move. Here is a pic of stand I was built for the 75
Well long story short we ended up not selling the house and deciding to stay. So my wife wanted a place she could sit and view the tank from so I built a bar
Before
After
Well a few months later my wife tells me she really does not like the tank and that she misses the 180. So now here I am again changing tanks. [emoji37] it's been a roller coaster of ups and downs in the hobby the last few months as I seen I have spent more time working taking stuff down just to put it back together. Well now that you know my reef life story here is my build thread
For my lighting I found a 10 bulb ATI fixture that I really like. I was trying to find a spectra light but they are so hard to find. So for now ATI it is.
Now for rock work I really wanted to do something way different than what I was use to. I wanted a floating style reef with Tonga branches. I feel as it will be a good look with mostly SPS. So I just started putting the rock work together
I'm placing everything together with zip ties and then cement and epoxy.
Well cut all zip ties and added some more pieces and move things around (after dropping the structure [emoji24]) what a pain it is to glue and epoxy this stuff together. Big thanks to my wife helping glue everything together. So I think this is what my final look will be
