Do you have pics of the sump ?

Tank came out awesome Jonny, love that combo of lights for sure.

frag is looking very nice too.

BTW- with that equipment, no reason why you coudnt do more SPS.

Thanks. I'm very excited about the tank. I finally got everything how I wanted it. I did try sps but had a mushroom problem. But after removing 300 mushrooms I am now mushroom free. So I am going to pick up a couple sticks next week. And see how it goes from there.

Very nice Jonny. Out of sump skimmer. Your braver than i am.
Lol I know but I don't think there is any in sump skimmer as good as a recirculating skimmer. As they constantly add air to water mixed with air. Now for overflowing that's a thing of the past as they setup on air intake t'd into the cup. So when cup gets filled air stops flowing and pump will put a vacuum on that line keeping the cup from overflowing. So they really have moved up on there designs

WOW- news to me. I didnt realize that external skimmers had placed designs to prevent overflows.

LOVE THE INFO!!!!

Again this is one of the intentions of this contest: Getting people to show what they have and how they do things.

WE ALL LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERYDAY!!!

Thanks Jonny. Keep up the good work, and good luck on the contest.

Just curious Jonny why you put canopy all the way up to the cealing? Its actually a good idea to run an exhaust out the roof or attic..

I actually want to run a exhaust fan out to attic I just have not got around to doing it. Do you have any idea what would be the best way of doing it ? Here is a pic of the fixture

Well here is a updated pic. It took some moving around to find its happy place. As it does not like strong lighting
