No the surf n turf is the blue and green pthalma I listed. The blue tip grew from a small encrustation of the parent colony Rob now has. I think he id'd it as nobilis. In his tank the branches glow but they didn't in mine. In mine the tips and coralites get bright blue.

I just got one ,does it grow fast and what kind of conditions concerning flow and light do you have it in?Thx in advance

reef roni - Mine is almost right under the halide. It grew right into the path of the Vortech. And hasn't been affected. Not like corals on the other side of the tank that got blasted.

SurpriseReefer, I know that you asked me a couple of months ago to do a trade for a frag of the frag that I got from newtanksmell - the unidentified brown/green w/ purple polyp plating/encrusting monti. I'm going to try and do my first frag tonight using that as my guinea pig, would you be interested in trading for a pair of the toadstools?

DjScibbity, thanks for the frilly shrooms. I know that one is doing very well, and I still have them in a container w/ that handy veil that you gave me, but I can see another one that looks to be more than half there and also healthy. If you'll still making it to the meet, I'll hook you up with the other frag that I'm attempting to cut from the newtanksmell LE monti. If you're able to snag one of those iridescent blue/purple shrooms too, I'd really love one of those.

Sorry if this has already been covered, but this will be my first time going to a meet and I checked the FAQ and the only place it talks about is a Coyote Bar and Grill for the West Frag Meets. There seems to be no info on Pranksters.
