July 14th FRAG Thread

I don't know how this works, so bear with me haha. for the corals that could have red bugs, will these be treated at the frag meet or are you on your own to treat them? I would have no clue where to get interceptor and also have no QT tank that would work for corals.

TIA,
Chad

Buffalo, on second opinion (and after looking at the tank), I dont think I have the room for the Galaxea right now. Id better hold off as I dont want it to sting other stuff. Im sorry for the mix up.

Phil, I think Ill take a piece of the Spongodes. I guess I'll ask you the same question I asked Buffalo...anything I have that you want to trade for? (German blue digi, crazy metallic pink/purple polyp birdsnest, Scripps Hot Pink Mille (best Kirsten has ever seen), Scripps Green Mille, bright green digi, bright orange digi, purple digi, or an IOU on reeffarmers red & blue monti - should be able to frag it soon). I prefer the frag unmounted

Buffalo, we can work something out for the pink/purple polyp birdsnest & German blue digi in the future..

RB's only go after SPS, mostly acropora.

Some will treat before. I think Tiffanie said she is doing that.

To be honest, you must treat no matter what the person that has the tank thinks or says. I have given people RB's when I thought my tank was free of them. I have gotten RB's the same way. TREAT EVERYTHING.

Although not as effective as interceptor, TMPCC (a dip) can do. You can buy this at the LFS.

Unfortunately not always true. As Skip mentioned last week pests do appear to have the ability to evolve in our tanks. I have photographic proof RB will host on digis for a period of at least 5 days and I am pretty sure I saw one over a period of 2 weeks. Frank used one of the pics in his IMAC talk in DC. This little guy moved around and sure looked like he was eating. Frank watched him in my system. I plan on posting pics in next few days.

Rob,

If its not taken put me down for:

1) A 2nd ORA Blue Cali Tort frag - This is actually 2- three inch branches mounted and encrusted - $45

- tri color nana - $5/in
- ORA Indo stag. nice purple tips - $20/in
Phil I would like these

Can I reserve a piece of the spongodes too please?

thanks

Phil - I'll trade you the birdnest and the kimbeensis for a piece of the Tyree purple unknown. It does not have to be the whole large chunk. That is purple with green polyps, right?

rasp.lemon zoos sold to kk
purple sponge sold to desart

I guess I should make a cool spreadsheet thing like Jesse

Hi Jesse,

I'd be interested in both these Zoas. Thanks!

aztbs:

I'd be interested in the

"One frag X-Men Palys ($20) - approx 7-8 polyps. Purple center with orange striped skirt."

Thanks!

Here's what color the zoos are tin can. The rock that I fragged them onto has atleast 30 polyps.
