Unfortunately not always true. As Skip mentioned last week pests do appear to have the ability to evolve in our tanks. I have photographic proof RB will host on digis for a period of at least 5 days and I am pretty sure I saw one over a period of 2 weeks. Frank used one of the pics in his IMAC talk in DC. This little guy moved around and sure looked like he was eating. Frank watched him in my system. I plan on posting pics in next few days.

Love to see the pics. This is awful news but at least we know about it.

I will frag this green with blue polyp cap if anyone wants a piece.

Price depends on how it frags off (so hard to tell how a cap will break) but anywhere from $10-$20 per frag. No PM's. Thanks!

there are always plenty of frags not spoken for at the meet. Some folks dont list at all and just bring there stuff to the meet. Others who farm corals have to post so they know what to bring... Its a ton of fun either way...

aztbs,

What's the cutoff for being considered a newbie? I put my first coral in my tank 3 months and 1 week ago, but I'm still hauling my RO water for the tank from the grocery store machines, and I don't yet have automated top-off or calcium/alk setup or a controller of any sort. If I qualify, I'd love the following:
Freebies for newbies, first come first serve:
- one small (1/2in) chunk of dark green pocillopora
- several green striped and watermelon mushrooms
- orange zoos with gray/white centers
- 1 small piece of brown/purple monti cap coral
- super bright neon green star polyps
(I actually bought a nice sized piece of green star polyps from Lissa at my first meeting a couple of months back, but I really love this coral - so if noone else claims it then I'll take it. But if you're a newbie who doesn't have this, you should take it. The same goes for the green striped shrooms, but I definitely would like the watermelon shrooms.)
