I know it's a little premature but I just received some great news pertaining to the July meeting. I'm pleased to announce the July meeting will be held at the house of Paul and Jutta Harris. The meeting date is set for the 16th. We will be having a heck of a fireworks display brought to you by a couple of club pyros. This will surely be a meeting not to miss. I will have more details as we get closer to that time. I'm going to try and get an accurate head count so we know how much food and drink to have on hand.

just a FYI,even though we are meeting in July at the Harris home we will still be having OMAS casino night meeting in September.For those that do not know they have full size craps,roulette and I think black jack table.

I would like to thank Scott and Jena (oddballs) as they are going to supply a ton of fireworks for this meeting. I will also be bringing quite a few. If you have leftovers from the 4th please feel free to bring them as well. Again more info added as we get closer.

Scott (oddballs) has struck a deal with his fireworks guy, and he is going to sell his leftover fireworks to club members at deeply discounted to cost prices. These will be the fireworks that he doesn't sell after the 4th. If anyone would be willing to donate ~5 dollars towards this that would be awesome. This will be in addition to what is already being brought to the meeting. Again thanks to the Harris' for allowing us to put this show on

We are going to smoke Chicken breasts, thighs, legs, etc.
Adult beverages allowed.

Suggest that all consider bring lawn charts, blanket, etc for Fireworks viewing.

When would we pay? At the meeting ok? Went by Oddballs last night but didnt get there until right at 7 and he was closed. Looked like Scott was still there but didnt want to bother ya after hours brother. The trip to Tulsa was not just to try and make it to the shop but was hoping to.

We are looking at having a really nice show(to say the least).This should be a better show than we have had for the 2 or 3 years for sure!! P.S If we could get a list of the sides that everyone is bringing it would be great.Paul and his better half are suppling the meat so it is up to us to come up with sides and desserts.So post up what goodies you are bringing so we do not end up with 5 or 6 rounds of baked beans ....LOL

OK, How about a 7:30 PM dinner start ? A little bit of a chance to be a bit "cooler"

Menu: smoked Chicken and what else shows up.
Adult beverages allowed.

Meeting 8:30.

Fireworks apx 9:15, about dark then Scott and Richard ?

Suggest lawn chairs, bug repellent and any other items for outdoor comfort.

Request that all park on the left hand side of the driveway headed up driveway toward the house.

A headcount would be great to insure we smoke of plenty of bird for all.

I would hate to miss this meeting but I now have a business trip I am leaving for on Sunday and have a ton of stuff to get done before I leave. If I can get caught up we will still be there. Hope to see you all there.

This meeting was a blast for sure (pun intended).Thank you guys who spent hours out in the heat wiring everything together and also everyone else who gave them a hand.Congrats to the winners in the raffle and thank you to Jason for offering his time to get our club our own forum and a new website.
