July MTRC Meeting

Sorry to hear about Jack. Making homemade rootbeer has been something I have wanted to do. Looking forward to seeing your setup.
Also excited to see your frag tanks! Hope Jack is doing alright.

Well... they did an x-ray on him right before they were going to do the surgery and what appeared to be bladder stones in his ultrasound are not showing up in the x-ray (find this hard to believe because I immediately saw in the ultrasound what the doc thought was the bladder stones). So, Jack is not going to have surgery until they figure out what is wrong with him, which means some more tests. On the plus side, this news makes it much more likely that he might just have some kind of infection that can be taken care of with the meds we already paid for.

And yes, it gets ridiculous to think how much you'll spend on an animal. But he's still young (just about 4 years) and has too much livin' to do... of course he is a walking health problem... so maybe we should look into pet health insurance.

I am not going to be able to make this meeting. I have church on Saturday nights. Hate that I am going to miss some homemade rootbeer. Sounds great.

An update for anyone following the Jack (the cat, not president :) ) story...

Alas, as Brian mentioned, no surgery just yet for Jack the cat. The vet is leaning towards a nasty infection. So, he's just on some antibiotics and some pretty good pain medicine for now until we get some results from the pee test... Hopefully these meds get him back on track and feeling great again. He has a lot of lazy left in him to give to the world. :)

Ya can you call me some time and we can get the address to pu and times 4283262. How did things go in the windy city?

I will call you prolly tomorrow night.
We dont go to Chicago until July 26th for the Championship game. But there is going to be two news crews at practice tonight. Channel 2 and 4 I think. And one of the camera guys wants to suit up and let our defense hit him. Is he crazy?

I'm going to make it to the meeting. No idea if the wife is going to come or not, but I should be there.

I'm sure he probably thinks the girls go out in tight little pink uniforms and strut about in high heels crying when they chip their newly painted fake nails... having seen the team picture, I'm pretty sure that defense is tougher than most guys teams (and its a fact that women don't feel pain the way guys do).

Parking for tomorrow...

If you turn left as soon as you pull into my townhouse complex, you'll see a white building with a bunch of mailboxes in the front and a pool behind it. Park in any unmarked space around that square. To get to our unit from there, you'll need to keep walking down the road you turned left on (there'll be dumpsters on the left side of that road behind a privacy fence, so head that way). When you are down near those dumpsters, you'll turn right and follow the road up between two rows of town houses. We're a few doors up on the right hand side. We're number 72. A green Ford Escape and a gray Focus should be parked out front. There's also a weird blue ball outside that the prior family left and that I think is delightfully tacky...it has therefore stayed part of our decor.
