Jumper for pH Probe?

I am planning on mounting my AC3 near my display tank. Unfortunately, this would mean that in order to control my Ca reactor which is located by my remote sump, I would need an extra 10' or so of cable. Would adding a jumper effect the probe's performance?

Jeff, you would need a BNC extension cable. I always grab my cables from Monoprice.com since they are crazy cheap. Here's what they have that you could use. If you are placing an order let me know and I could come up with a few things to add. Your total is $4.35 plus S&H .. not bad IMO.
