June 9th BAR meeting, intensive lighting seminar w/ PGS

On Saturday, June 9th, BAR will host an intensive (no pun intended) lighting seminar presented by Pacific Garden Supply of San Rafael.
Pacific Garden Supply is the company that invented the Lumenarc reflector and they are on the cutting edge of lighting technology for reef aquariums. They are also working with Steinhart to develop a lighting system capable of illuminating the new Steinhart reef tank.
This presentation will include a lengthy Q&A session followed by our famous raffle and a few other activities.
This meeting will be held at ASAP in Hayward, (see www.bareefers.org for directions) is open to the public, and will begin at 1pm sharp.

I just spoke to Dan of PGS.. Cool guy and great Family run business..

He is having a massive aptasia problem..55 gal tank is completely full of it.. cant even see the rocks due to the amount of aptasia. But maybe someone with Berghia could help him out and sell him one ASAP.

He said he is preparing a informative material for his lighting presentation..

I know, Dan said he contaced Mat.. But matt wanted his live rock. But Dan doesn want it removed from his tank.. he has nice healthy corals considering he has more aptasia..

Thanks Art! Not a whole lot to set up for this one.

But everybody should plan to be there early to get any frag activities completed(say from 12:00-12:45) before the PGS presentation.
