they are ok to use. i had one when just starting out. sometimes it was hard to get a good color match. i have since replaced all with SeaChem and Salifert test. to me those have been much better test kits.
Since you have not had an answer yet, I did a search. It came back as they often can be unreliable or hard to read. With all the money I have in my system, I only trust Salifert test kits.
