Just a rant

I have to vent to someone, and nobody else I can vent too understands.

Ok, story starts on Sunday (Oct. 10th) when my wavemaker quit on me. I took it apart and couldnt get it working again. It was way to smoked to even be worth it to try..........So here my tank sits packed full of SPS, and only my return pump and one powerhead moving water in the tank. I cant use both my powerheads because without the wavemaker, and having both of them on at the same time its a total sand storm since they pump 100LPM.

I decided that I needed to order a new one, and also pick up some new MH bulbs while I was spending money. I went to MD.com, placed my order and payed with Paypal. I opted for next day air for an extra $26 because I know my tank wont be happy at all without the powerheads running. I figured that they would be fine until Tuesday when I got my order.

Well today (Oct. 11th) I was at work when a MD employee called me to inform me that Paypal was down. I of course was upset, but not because Paypal was down as he has no control over that. I was HIGHLY UPSET at the fact that it was 5:05pm my time and I was just then recieving the call to inform me of the problem.

My big problem is why did they wait so long to call me?

So now I am sitting here watching my tank with hardly any circulation at all (compared to normal)........and hoping that my stuff gets shipped sometime in the near future (reduced next day air would be nice :p ).


That damn free T-shirt better be very very very very nice! :mad:

BTW, Ben if you read this, its posted on your site also. I just wanted a response from one of you guys and didnt know which would get seen first. Feel free to delete the one on your site if you wish.

We apologize for the delay with your order, but as you stated we are stuck since PayPal is down. We were able to log on to papal intermittently throughout the day and tried to ship what we can verify, but unfortunately there were a few orders that we simply could not get a verification for. Yours being one of them. We kept trying to log on until we were no longer able to wait because of pick up times and that is when we contacted you. BTW, FreakyReef is still in Minn. and hes not answering his cell phone. I havent recieved a call from his tank sitters though so Im guessing that everything is still ok.....atleast I hope it is.
