I just added some stuff to Fragswapper.
Tunte Nano skimmer
2+" Hydnophoria frag
6" green Cynarina
Will also have a bunch of blue Platho. polyps with me that I haven't posted on Fragswapper.

I would really like to make a deal with someone local for the Cynarina, as its done so well for me I don't want anything to happen to it. This is the one that Scott had at ET for a while, several months back. In my tank its grown like 2" and completly takes up the space between two rock formations. I doubt I will bring it if I don't have a deal.

Will post pictuers later this afternoon.

Thanks

Its a place you can list what you plan to bring to to sell/swap/buy at a frag swap. You can make deals with others before hand then make the swap at the event. Plus you don't have to be there right at the beginning to get a prime piece.

I added some pictures of the corals on Fragswapper.

I will also have a bunch of these, even to big colonies.

Yeah whats a cynardia? So fragswapper is like a craigs list almost for corals?
Does it apply to all corals for sale or just when a frag swap event is scheduled?

I meant Cynarina. I may have been a Marine biology major but I suck at scientific names.

I will post up a pick when I get home, or if you see me at the swap I can show it to you on my PC.

Its craigs list but for specific events. You register your event with the site, and then participants of that event register for that event and post what they intend on bringing. Its an easy way to make predeals.

I completley forgot about that. :rolleye1: I would love it, but I probably cant get it because I'm leaving for alburqurqe on monday. So I couldn't pick it up for a week. Is that ok if I pick it up then?
Thanks

oh yeah its not going anywhere, just let me know when you get a chance I just didnt want to let it go without reminding you

Currently FragSwapper is just for clubs/orgs/stores with events. I've been kicking around the craig's list style of trading outside of swaps but haven't decided if I can afford to do that for free..not to mention I have to worry about legal issues.

It will probably happen, but I'm watching to make sure FragSwapper popularity starts to build more so I can get sponsors and I'm not out of pocket completely on the site.

It's coming along slowly but I have ZERO advertising for my site..it's all word of mouth...but the mouths are getting louder and have been mostly positive. :)

Sale Pending.

Caleb you will be gettinga BEAST. I have seen Nassarius snails come up the side of the polyp and pull chunks of krill out of its mouth, so I got curious. It had its feeding tenticles out and there was a nass. up at the top. I droped the snail on its tenticles and it grabbed on. It was an hour long battle royal with the snail trying to get out from the center ring, and the coral pulling the foot into its mouth. Finally the dnail was able to twist its way out of the center. I could see that the part of the foot that had been in direct contact with the tenticles appeared paralized. Unfortunately for the snail the Hand of Intervention tossed him back in head first. Without the snail flailing around this time the coral was able to engulfe the snail and eat it. I found the empty shell laying off to the side of the coral this morning.

Great Story

Great Story

I never heard of this kinda battle made me feel sorry of that poor Nasarius. I had a damselfish trying to battle with my hand the other night. I won!! The more I know the more I realize I dont know.
