do you guys suppose when we lose water to evaperation that it takes some ammonia with it? really never thought about it before but if its in the water and we lose water wouldn't we lose some ammonia also? i was searching and couldn't find anything thought i would ask, i know its a dumb question but i wanna know lol

Nope, it all stays there and gets more and more concentrated unless you have some method of ammonia removal (bacteria). The whole nitrogen cycle thing explains what happens to ammo, nitrate, nitrite

That's one reason water changes are highly recommended. (although I hardly ever do them)

If you were to capture the water that evaporates and condense it you would have "distilled" water that is safe to drink.
