Just bought a Red Bali Starfish

Yesterday, I bought my first starfish. I only acclimated him for an hour and a half. Turns out I probably should have done it for three hours but so far he is moving around the tank and seems happy. Any advice on best practices for anyone that has one of these? Thanks.

Good luck..
Most don't seem to have good luck with many starfish in captivity..

Hopefully your tank offers sufficient food/algae sources..

Thanks. Gonna attempt to direct feed twice a week to supplement its algae diet given that I only have a 20 gallon.

I tried two at one point.. They both disintegrated within 2 weeks. Haven't tried em since :/ Good luck!
