Just cleaned skimmer and now...

Over the weekend I cleaned my entire vinegar and water now I can not seem to get it from over flowing.

It is a euro reef RS135 I have no air restrictor in and the water level controller is completely open.

Is this normal?

yes it is normal for your skimmer to act like that after cleaning it with vinegar. did you make sure to wash it off well enough when done?

just think of it this way. the skimmer needs to break back in.

I rinsed pretty well. But chances are there was still some residue in the skimmer. I have been running it as is and just letting it over flow.

i remove the collection cup when mine does this after cleaning, week later its rockin again!
