Just curious what is everyone using for water movement?

I was hoping u guys can help me out. Just asking for a quick summary of what u guys are using for water movement within your tanks either pumps or powerheads. Thanks!

Example - 75 gal tank 600 gph return and closed loop using 1200 gph pump.

1 dart on om4 way closed loop
2 6100 tunzes
1 seq 4200

12k gph in tank at 400watts = about 20x turnover

65g Tank Reef Ready, Mag 7 for Return, Closed Loop w/OM Squirt 2way on a Gen-X PXC-40 1100gph.


I actually have three returns on my Closed Loop, the two normal nozzles from the OM and I have a bypass installed on my closed loop due to the strength of the pump. That bypass I have going through a 15w UV light then into the tank through a Hydor rotating deflector. Neat setup and when the CL comes on EVERYTHING is moving.

90 reef just switched to a Sequence Dart on OM 4 way, iwaki 50 on a close loop but not using it the Dart alone is a lot of flow on a 90

On the 180gal SPS, (2) Turbelle 6100, (1) Panworld 50xx return, (1) Panworld 50xx closed loop with 1/3hp chiller.

Over 8,000 gph under 300 watts!

I will be more than glad to share pictures or you can drop by the house and see it in person, it is still in the fine tuning stage then I will improve on the esthetics maybe you can give me some ideas. This weekend I am in a class from 9 to 4:30 Sat & Sun but I will PM my cell so we can talk.
