Just discovered Mantis hitchhiker

I first saw my manits shrimp about a week ago. I am very concerned about this, I don't really know anything about these little creatures. He came in on a piece of LR a little while ago. I'm pretty sure of this because his house is in a perfectly formed hole in a recently purchased piece of rock (about 4mos ago). I first saw him last week when I bought an algae blenny who was sickly and died two days later. I don't know if the mantis finished him off or what, but I saw him eating on the dead blenny. He doesn't seem to bother anything else in the tank. Wheneer a fish or cleaner shrimp comes around, he runs away (I've seen him several times since). I am wondering if he will prey on my fish or cleaner? I don't want to keep him in there if he will, but if not I will glady keep him, he's very interesting.

He will most definately kill your claner shrimp sooner or later.

Ditch him and send him to me Where he can have a nice home, without eating your cleaner.

Do you really want him? How much would it cost to ship? I would hate to kill the little guy, but I want him out.

hmmm...did you by any chance read the entire thread to see what was being said before you posted a reply to a thread that hadn't been touched since the 3rd of this month? Just curious :rolleye1:
