Just got 20 ZOOS- Help!!

Just got 20 zoo frags. They are not really opening after 3 days.Any ideas? Tank chemistry perfect. Cal 435, dkh 10.0, nitrates 0, phosphates 0,
20 gallon tank . HOB filter. 1 maxi jet. Orbit 2 pc 65watt each. temp 79-81.

Anything I can add to kick start zoos? They are at bottom of tank.

Give them some time and don't move them around. Sometimes I have gotten zoos that had a bad shipping expierence and wouldn't open for a week. Just as long as none smelled bad when you opened the bag you should be ok.

does it look like there is any slime or alge growing on them. what kind os water flo is on them(direct or indirect)??

Did you check them for hitchhickers specifically nudi's.
Are the polyps healthy size or are they smaller?

Check your salinity. If its too low they're not going to open.

should be at least 1.023. 1.024 is good.

I would recommend dipping every zoas you get.. doesn't matter who they came from..

then, give 'em time to open up.. some take longer than others.. I've had zoas don't open for a week...

they will normally bounce back but will take time..

Just curious as to why you would dip them regardless of where you get them from? And are you talking a freshwater dip?
