i just picked up a new nano cube for only $66 shiped on ebay!!! I could not pass that up. Now i need to figure out what to do with it. I may put 1 helfriechs firefish in it with some shrooms.

i think the helfriech firefish might need some more room than a 6 gallon. firefishes are dart fishes which need room to swim. i personally wouldnt put one in less than a 10 gallon.

i really lucked out, cheapest i have seen on ebay has been 99 plus shipping. this is a used but never set up still in the box tank, had a buy it now for 49 plus 16 shipping. i had to do it.

i would not trust anything aquatraders sells. thats just me though.
Have mine same way, like it, but it will need some small modifications. And better to stick to corals and other invertebrates and may be 1-2" fish. Some of these may be (no personal experience, sorry):
up to 1": Red Striped Goby, Neon Eviota Goby, Trimma Goby, Clown Goby, Panda; up to 2", but was told it's bullet-proof - Neon Blue Goby.
I like this tank, the same 1 year later. Other food for thought: Idol nano.

well it should be here today according to DHL. I ordered up the test kits and a 25 watt heater and maxi jet 600. I have a spare hydor flow laying around that i am going to incorporate into the back wall for a return nozzle. I forgot to order the surface skim attachment so i got to pick one of those up as well. I have decided on a clown goby and maybe some sexy shrimp. I should have it up and running this weekend although the live rock maybe an issue to find smaller pieces at the local stores around here. Then its time to let my wife know its going in our bedroom on my dresser!

Got my tank and everything arrived OK. Its actually a little bigger then i thought. I am pretty excited to get this going. First fix for sure is making the moonlights have the own power cord.What goofball designed the lighting like that anyway??? I gotta stop by the LFS and get some substrate and water from the water change on my 36 will be going in Saturday along with some Liverock. I will snap some photos this weekend.
