Coral beauty angel. I never realized just how pretty these fish are. He has not been in the tank for more that 20 minutes so i dont have a pic, he is still hiding a bit, but is starting to poke out.

After putting my camera in all kinds of modes and ISO's, I finally got a decent pic of him in rapid succession. It is a bit grainy because the ISO was 1600.

anyone else have a pic of this fish in their tank?

My lights just went out for the night so I can't snap a pic of mine. Well done for getting a pic of her on the first night, mine just hid! You'll be pleased to know once they settle in they zip about all over the place... lovely fish :D

As of right now, about 1 1/2 hrs in the tank, he is out 80% of the time and while sitting at my desk (next to the tank) he is coming over to check out what I am doing.

He is also picking on all of the rocks, and when I fed the tank he came right out to get it (flakes).

Good looking fish! I have always liked Coral Beauties but never got around to picking one up. It may have to go on my list for the next tank.

Thanks for sharing the pic.:)

mine is awesome and is the only guy in my tank that actually swims through and in and out of the caves and arch's I make for the fish. Very active but be cautious as mine nips at the sea rod I have. Thats the only coral I have in the tank that he doesnt like. I think I will be getting rid of the sea rod soon though due to my coral beauty. He's really bugging it.

I really recommend this fish. It has great personality and gets along well with most fish. My kenya trees (also the only coral in my tank) have not been bothered by him yet, but he is still new, and relatively shy. Plus the corals are relatively high in the tank and he has stayed in the lower region so far. Only time will tell though.
