Just got back from Epic oceans

I was little disappointed with the selection of coral everything seemed way!! Overpriced for the size and quality of the frags but they do have a nice fish selection and some very nice large display tanks just my opinion though on the frags... I'm not trying to diss on them I just was expecting pets inc from a few years back

Epic Ocean's is not pets Inc. However the owner of epic oceans knows his stuff about saltwater / reef tank and is very friendly with wonderful customer service. They just opened and still working on getting things going smoothly. Still need to get all his distributors and then he will also have a freshwater / planted tank section in the near future as well.

He has not even had his grand opening yet! He is also still getting stuff together and set up. Will is super friendly and to me his prices are just fine for the the frags he has. Plus his tanks are relatively clean other than some algae growth. And I always go to his store for livestock. And he has great deals ! He also really knows his stuff

Ok I do understand that he is just opend but when over half of the sps that are for sale are dead and still listed for sale... I will give him a chance but might give him some more time before I go back. I'm not trying to start a argument I just simply stated my opinion

Here's how I see the situation. There are currently 20+ fish stores in the valley. At least 4 in same general area as Epic Oceans. The market has become saturated. There are some really good one and some bad ones. Most of these stores buy from the same wholesalers so most of the time there isn't much difference in selection. What makes a store stand out for me is it's cleanliness, customer service, pricing and if they carry rare unusual corals other store don't.

We all have our favorite stores and the competition has become fierce between these guys to earn our business. First impressions are everything. These new store opening up better be an their "A" game or they won't be around long. (It's just simple economics) In Epic Oceans case it sounds like they may have opened to soon and some haven't been impressed with the store. Sure, everyone should give this guy a chance but the reality of it is there are 20 other stores to chose from and what makes Epic Oceans different from the others...

Just like the others. I'm not bashing anyone just adding my 2 cents to the discussion....

SPS are not dead they may be a little bleach who can beat him nobody his prices are reasonable and most are lower than all other stores he runs a quarantine system which no other stores do so you're automatically getting better fish and if I were people I would take advantage of His cheap frags right now all of the stuff is high end just needs to be colored up

I have been all over the valley to different stores and Epic Oceans has by far one of the cleanest stores with super clean tanks. The customer service is well above because at other stores u can be in there forever and no one will even speak to see if you need help. Price wise he is one of the cheapest in town for the quality and is always willing to cut great deals. I really like epic oceans and I think Will is fantastic and once he is open longer he will become even more established.

Went there a few weeks ago, and I wasn't impressed. It is new so I will wait a month and go back and try again.
