Just got my new Kodak Zi8 Mini HD Cam. Im Liking it so far. Pretty good quality for low light aquarium filming. I actually got it so i can film and post clips on here from our trip to Sea World next weekend. Was playing around with it and decided to post one of the clips of my tank. It films in full 1080p, and 720p@60 frames per second (better for fast moving action). It also has a macro button which the flip doesnt. Youll notice it when i try to zoom in on the clam, it will be blurry, then youll hear a click, and the view will get really clear again and really close up to the deasa. Please excuse the clams in the containers...im still kinda acclimating them and making sure they dont have pyrams.
I went with this over the Flip because it does 1080p and is a little more versatile. It also has an underwater housing made by Ikelite which im for sure gonna hop on soon.
toggle the view modes on thebottom right to change to HD for better quality.
