12 gal Aquapod, oh boy...make sure you get enough flow in that thing. Im no fan of nanos unless they are done right ie. moded out in some way. Everyone help out on this.
Cool I've got one too<a href=showthread.php?s=&postid=9742975#post9742975 target=_blank>Originally posted</a> by ijw
It is a 12 Gallon aquapod. I got the rocks from Berts and selected the nicer purple ones from the tanks with the fish. Ammonia was only slightly measurable yesterday and looked lower today. Nitrates were up a little from yesterday. With the small tank and kind of rock I am using will I still see the big diatom cover I have heard about?

Sounds good. Like I said I replaced the stock pump and I don't have anything in the back chambers. I think Crabfan did a fuge in his. I'm lazy and just stuck a little wad of chaeto against the return teeth. Try to really stay on top of your water changes. With no skimmer they're your main export.I know its small and i'll end up getting a bigger one, but right now its a small footprint and a way to get the hang of this. I need to order a maxjet 900, thats been the general suggestion I have seen for owners of the unit along with taking the bioball and ceramic out of the back and creating a fuge back there. Any other ideas would be great.
