Just how common are Aussie Acan Lords going to be?

I'm curious how common these are going to become because they are beautiful and come with a big big price tag. One local reef shop had an amazing trial shipment and now 100 more colonies will be in either this weekend or next weekend and a couple other local shops have said their aussie cites are in and as soon as next week they will be getting in their shipments.

I know the ban on exporting was just lifted but i'm also pretty sure there are still relatively tight restrictions. Are these shipments going to become every couple of weeks like the indo shipments we all see or will they be few and far between?

Also for people living in australia how common are they in your local reef shops? roughly how much do colonies cost? is the fact they are being exported having an effect on supply and cost?

If I remember correctly through my surfing here on RC, people who live in australia can get acan colonies for dirt dirt cheap, but they also pay ALOT for some of the stuff that we can get dirt cheap here in the U.S. Non-Indo Lords have been in the market for sometime now but not to the level of indo-lords. This is the first I have heard of the ban being lifted?

Readily available here. Saw some nice big red ones (8-10 inches) at the LFS today. Typically around A$30-75 depending on size. Duncans are about the same, on a per head basis I guess around A$2.
As stated above there's a lot of stuff we just can't get at all, and a lot that's very expensive if you can find it, inverts in particular (red line shrimp = $120).

From what I hear from wholesalers there is a big difference between East and West Australian lords. The ones that are starting to come in look a lot like the Indo ones. The ones that are really nice are the ones we will still not be able to get. Dang it.

Which are better east or west. I'm taking a trip to there and thinking about stoping by some shops and picking up some stuff and shipping it back. Are there any laws about that kinda stuff.

I would imagine the East would be the better the ones since the japanese lords are as colorful as they are.

Yes there are laws. You must have a permit from CITES to export or import stony corals in/out of any country. And you will not be able to get a permit.

We've gotten one shipment here in Toronto Canada so far, but a few more are scheduled from different LFS in the city.
The ones we got are NICE.
Expensive, very expensive, but NICE!

Well they were actually in mississauga
