just made the sps jump!! after it encrust's the base does it start growing up???

Yes, very good thing. Means your corals are growing not just surviving.

Very good sign. They should start growing up - it's very, very variable when they'll do this in my experience.

thank goodness, just got a kessil 350 and a vortech for my bc29... wasent sure if the flow was correct

i have it on reefcrest 50% but didnt know if i needed to raise it. i put it to the point it dosent disturb the sand.

i also dont know how much i can turn the kessil up... that kinda sucks.

start low with LEDS and ramp over *lots* of time. Just my 2 cents. It's hard to tell on flow b/c it depends on so many factors (coral placement, powerhead placement, tank size, dimension, etc.)
