Here they are when i just added them into the tank, the rbta already has her foot in the rock and the frogspawn is placed where i like it to be, everything is going awesome up to now, cant wait to start fragging now. Man this is exciting. I thought my carpet was nice, this is far better.

Looks nice!
I've been reading up on them a little at a time. I'd like to get one for the new tank, but our 6 months isn't up until Dec., so some time after that I hope to be getting one too!

I definately think getting one from a fellow reefer is the way to go! I know I'll be looking for a clone from fellow reefers with similar lighting to mine to make the transition easier on the nem!

Thank you, def get it from a fellow reefer, thats the way to go and plus you meet new friends like i have done.

lots of hair algae. Sign of high nitrates and phosphates which is not good. Hair algae is a pest algae that thrives off high nutients in the water. When wast the last time you did a good water change? Also what kind of water are you using? If you are using tap water than I would best switch to RO/Di. I would be catious about having your RBTA in a tank that small especially with all that hair algae.

Please lets not get into this again. My nitrates are 0. Well it looks like my blue carpet did fine, did it not? So lets not get into this kind of topic. My tank is fine, than you for your concerns though, i appreciate it.

Plus i will be getting a good size clean up crew this weekend (have to replenish the stock)which should keep it down, but i have mostly goten rid of it, it was a lot worse, Rick who i got the rbta from told me what to do and i have taken his advice, you should see his tank, it is amazing. It has to be worth thousands and i mean thousands.

The rbta is such a nice pinkish red in color with awesome pink tips. Some of the nicest coloration i have ever seen in rbta's. I am really pleased with this specimen, photos dont do it justice. You guys should see the mother of this bad boy, if i ever have permission to take tank shot pics i will, and you will be able to see it, it truly is amazing and i could not be any happier than what i am now. Plus i think its kinda funny that when i gave him a piece of shrimp i thought it was too big for him, but he enclosed on it within seconds, they truly are amazing creatures. This is the mother from another thread, take a look. Tricky is the owner aka rick.

just curious...may be getting a bta...how was the anem with your other corals? when you first put him in tank, did he walk much? sting much? kill?

Nope i just put him in that spot and he dug his foot right away, no problems up to now and he is right near some mushrooms as you can tell.

You are right it would do it justice. Or maybe you should come over and take a look for yourself, it's so sweet.
