Is is smart to always put gloves on when putting a hand in the water, or just when fragging. I enjoy zoo's but dont want to get sick for lack of protection.

I believe its just for fragging certain zoos. And you probably need an open flesh wound or have severe allergies for it to affect you.

Yeah gloves are always a good idea. goggles are a good idea when working with corals too. I've seen some pretty nasty stuff.

oh geez. I usually wash my hands before I put them in my tank. Now I will remember to wash then on the way out too.

Thanks for sharing. I make it a habit to wash before doing anything in the tank, and will make sure I wash after I "touch" anything other than water. A little prevention could save a lot of pain.
