Just Recd a Mantis

He's only about an inch long, I have him in a 2.5g tank right now with LR. I have a small heater I can adfd, but is a room temp of 70-75 OK?
I guess I'm going to have to read thru this forum now.
Too small for any real colors...just looks brownish...

A consistent temp will be best for the little guy.

I added a small heater that I used in the same tank before, plus some LR for him to hide in. He was OK this morning so far

Hey Captain Dave,

Was this a hitchhiker, or did you decide to get one after seeing Gojira? They're cool animals, aren't they? You might want to think about picking up a slightly bigger tank - I had a 2" one in a 5.5 gal hex and that worked great as a desk tank.
