Hey Guys,

Decided to join today after having a look around for information.
I have zero experience, zero knowledge, zero everything when it comes to marine aquariums. So Im here to read, read, read and learn. Make notes and plan for an aquarium in the future.

I have had a planted freshwater aquarium for a few years but recently saw a 60 gallon cube anemone tank on Youtube (melevsreef) and it inspired me to start looking into this side of the fish keeping hobby. The colours are great but the movement in the tank was what drew me in.

Looking forward to setting one up in the future and Im sure you guys are going to be a lot of help.

Emil

Welcome, when you feel like you have read enough... read some more. A good plan is key to success! Sounds like you are off to a good start.

What they said!
I was in your position... Just started around 2-3 years ago..
When you think you know enough, you're about a quarter of the way there... Just keep reading all of the threads, you'll learn a ton! Already on the right track!

Welcome Emil!

This is a good place to start reading: http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1031074 it's a lot of the most helpful threads for new reefers in one place. Also, at the top of each section of the forum are threads called "stickies" because they are stuck at the top. They tend to have very good, reliable information. So if you are curious about diseases, the stickies in the disease subforum are a great place to read up; same for chemistry in the chemistry section, etc.

The fact that you are reading before you get wet is a great sign, don't be afraid to ask if something doesn't make sense. Good luck and have fun! :)
