nice colors where did you get it?

mantle seems slightly receded altho that may be fromt he moving stresss

Just dropped it in LOL not 15 mins ago
Def stressed.
Anyways just passing by to pick some carbon at my buddy in miami and got him aquariumart he has about 30 of them

BTW I believe its a crocea
T. crocea has a very large abyssal gland (larger than T. maxima). This gland is used to anchor the clam in the strong water currents they inhabit. The shell is thicker than other clams, relatively small folds on the side of the shell and small scutes usually on the upper portions of the shell only.

Remember, clams like to be set where the current flows along the mantle of the clam, not directly into the "mouth".

tyvm yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah baby LOL I;'ll be getting some more and perhaps some colorful maximas in d near future.

No wait better put: How much do you go for?
[/QUOTE]

Holy S$#@....I just reread my post from last night!
Hey Gasman, My question should have been:
How much do they go for? And for sure NOT what I originally wrote!!
This weekend I get my MH set up, and was now thinking of getting a clam. Thanks

LOL no worries buddy, I aint cheap tha's why there was no response LMAO.
Anyways they had tons at aquariumart-67th and bird. anywhere in between 50-100 bucks i believe

I knew I shoulda stopped there... I was down in the 305 on Wednesday and went on an aquarium store frenzy, but ended up making Exotic Aquariums my last stop. I didn't regret it, as it was awesome, but there were like 2 other stores within blocks of that store. I don't understand how these LFS can all be so close together?! Down in south Miami, on 142 and US1, there were 2 like 8 doors down from each other in the same Dairy Queen shopping strip.

this one in particular beacuse they really get great stuff/ secretive wrasess-pipes-blastos and tons of great corals.

If you like clams, make sure you stop in at Reef's Edge on Orange Dr, they have an awesome clam setup, with tons of clams!
