Atually at that size (1 1/2 inces) they require live phytoplankton to survive.

they should, i have had small clams before, they dont' really need lyve phyto, you can feed them marine snow or phytoplex which is made by kent.

Julio, I used phytoplex before and it seemed to work fine for the " critters " at the time! What are you using? I belive you have several beauitful ones! I have been Talked into trying a Photo farm- ever tried it?

I have a bunch of pics on file, for soem reason i am ble to upload any pics on reef central, it keeps saying the files are too big.
right now i use marine snow and DT's and Phytoplex.

ever tried a phyto farm? some say it is easy and beats paying for the stuff!!

i don't have the time, i wanted to do it but is a lot easier for me jus to buy the stuff.
